Professional Services Engineer - French Speaker

What you will do

• Provide Level 3 support for Platform and Managed Services customers in a global 24x7 Storage Operations team.
• Respond to incidents and service requests, manage problems, and track project status as a lead resource for delivery teams.
• Deploy, administer, monitor, troubleshoot, and upgrade hirify.global storage environments, including ONTAP, Clustered Data ONTAP, and 7-Mode.
• Perform performance tuning, replication, security hardening, backup operations, and disaster-recovery testing.
• Support cloud and hybrid infrastructure, including Cloud Volumes ONTAP, StorageGrid, E-Series, Amazon FSxN for ONTAP, VMware, servers, and networking.
• Deliver customer training through knowledge transfer and structured demonstrations while maintaining stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

• 8+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, 6+ years with a master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong experience administering hirify.global storage, storage protocols, SAN and NAS environments, cluster switches, SAN fabric switches, and hirify.global management tools.
• Knowledge of snapshots, controller failover, provisioning, deduplication, cloning, SnapMirror, IntelliSnap, monitoring, replication, and performance tuning.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, Windows Server, Linux administration, virtualization, networking, object storage APIs, and disaster recovery.
• Fluency in French and English is required.
• Knowledge of ITIL change, incident, problem, and configuration management processes, as well as managed services and cloud operations.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Trident, Trident Protect, OpenShift, OpenStack, LogicMonitor, FlexPod, Cisco UCS, IBM BladeCenter, VMware vSphere, or Commvault.
• Experience with GCP, Azure, or AWS.
• hirify.global hybrid cloud or implementation certifications and associate- or professional-level cloud certifications.
• Basic understanding of AI and generative AI technologies for troubleshooting, documentation, operational efficiency, and customer support.
