Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Dubai, UAE; hybrid with 3 days per week in the office and 2 days remote

hirify.global builds AI agents and a platform for banks, starting with voice AI for debt collection across voice, messaging, email, and SMS.

What you will do

• Own software problems end-to-end, from understanding the need and designing a solution to production operation and iteration.
• Build and evolve customer-facing products for strategy configuration, portfolio monitoring, and AI conversation analysis.
• Develop self-serve onboarding, customer integrations with CRM, ERP, and core banking systems, and data flows that improve AI agents.
• Contribute to internal tools, AI skills, automations, and engineering practices that improve company-wide productivity.
• Design, debug, and operate production systems with attention to failure modes, latency, cost, scalability, and bank-grade security.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building and scaling production software.
• Strong TypeScript proficiency across the stack, including Node on the backend and React or a similar modern framework on the frontend.
• Fullstack experience, or strong backend/frontend experience with a desire to work across the stack.
• Ability to design, run, and debug real production systems.
• Strong ownership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to use AI coding tools critically while retaining ownership of technical decisions and delivered code.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Previous experience with AI/ML projects or startup environments.
