What you will do
- Develop and maintain a privacy-first internet browser based on the Chromium engine.
- Implement security hardening, including anti-fingerprinting and content blocking.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to ship a high-quality desktop browsing experience.
- Work on the Chromium codebase, including Blink, V8, and the network stack.
- Optimize performance to ensure a fast and distraction-free user experience.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building or maintaining Chromium-based browsers at scale.
- Proficiency in C++ and comfort navigating large codebases.
- Experience with Chromium's build system and cross-platform builds (macOS, Windows, Linux).
- Practical implementation of privacy or security hardening measures.
- Solid knowledge of web platform standards and browser security responsibilities.
Nice to have
- Experience working in open source.
- Proficiency in Rust for platform-independent components.
