What you will do

• Monitor network infrastructure, servers, and critical data center systems 24/7/365.
• Respond to alerts, investigate faults, and perform first-line troubleshooting to restore services.
• Escalate complex network, infrastructure, and facility issues to senior engineers.
• Manage environmental systems including power, cooling, and Building Management System (BMS) alarms.
• Log and manage incidents through the ticketing system with clear documentation.
• Support shift handovers and contribute to root cause investigations.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a NOC, IT helpdesk, or data center environment.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switches, routers, firewalls).
• Basic comfort level with Linux/Unix command lines and Windows Server.
• Must be able to work a flexible shift schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Degree or vocational certificate in IT or Network Engineering.

Nice to have

• CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Norwegian language skills for local site communication.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Zabbix, Grafana, or Prometheus.
