TL;DR

Actuarial Intern (Finance): Providing consulting and advice on retirement plans to support employees' financial wellness with an accent on quantitative analysis and financial modeling. Focus on processing actuarial data, researching industry trends, and delivering technical reports for pension schemes and insurance companies.

Location: Based in Taiwan

What you will do

Perform actuarial and quantitative analysis for insurance and healthcare projects.
Process, validate, and update data within actuarial and financial models.
Research industry, regulatory, and legislative trends to provide client insights.
Collaborate with consultants to resolve queries and deliver projects for public and private pension schemes.
Assist in preparing reports and formulating recommendations for clients.

Requirements

Graduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a similar quantitative field.
Strong written and verbal presentation skills in English and Mandarin.
Must be based in Taiwan.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Nice to have

Knowledge of the Pensions domain.
Proficiency in VBA or other programming languages.
