TL;DR

Design Manager (Data Center) (AI): Leading the planning, design, and coordination of mission-critical AI data center projects from site selection through commissioning with an accent on multidisciplinary coordination and technical standards for hyperscale infrastructure. What you will do

• Lead all design phases for hyperscale and AI data center developments.
• Manage architectural and engineering consultants from schematic design through permitting.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including civil, structural, MEP, fire protection, and telecommunications.
• Perform constructability reviews and value engineering to improve project performance and reduce risks.
• Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals.
• Develop and maintain standardized programs, workflows, and governance for data center engineering and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience managing complex commercial, industrial, or mission-critical design projects.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams for data centers, semiconductor, or healthcare infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and mission-critical infrastructure.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and construction drawings.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Licensed Architect or Professional Engineer.
• Experience supporting AI, hyperscale, or cloud data center developments.
• Familiarity with commissioning processes and integrated project delivery.
• Knowledge of lifecycle costing and sustainable design practices.
