What you will do

• Lead, develop, and manage a 24/7/365 NOC team, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and shift scheduling.
• Oversee continuous monitoring of network infrastructure, servers, customer environments, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Act as the primary escalation point for Tier 3+ critical incidents and lead root cause analysis (RCA).
• Monitor environmental performance including power utilization, cooling efficiency, and HVAC health.
• Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), operational runbooks, and escalation workflows.
• Coordinate with on-site facilities teams and external vendors for planned maintenance and emergency works.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Glomfjord, Norway.
• 4+ years of experience leading a team within a NOC, TAC, or critical data center environment.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering or infrastructure operations.
• Deep understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• English: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, Juniper JNCIP/JNCIE, or ITIL Foundation.
• Experience with data center physical infrastructure (UPS, cooling systems, power distribution).
• Norwegian language skills for local coordination.
