TL;DR

Data Engineer (Hadoop/Spark): Developing a new reporting solution for financial regulatory requirements with an accent on distributed data processing and complex SQL optimization. Location: Hybrid (Gdynia, Gdańsk, Warszawa, or Łódź), 3 days per week from the office

Salary: 1100 - 1450 PLN/day on B2B

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable data processing pipelines.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust SQL queries.
• Provide L3 support and collaborate with Production Assurance teams.
• Communicate technical issues and solutions effectively to business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in data engineering and distributed data processing.
• Proficiency in translating complex requirements into executable SQL.
• Strong communication skills for bridging technical and business perspectives.
• Experience in L3 support and collaborative problem-solving.
• Must be based in Poland and able to work from the office in Gdynia, Gdańsk, Warszawa, or Łódź.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Apache Flink.
