Business Operations Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Bastrop, Texas, United States; onsite only. Remote work is not considered. Travel up to 15% and extended hours or weekends may be required.

What you will do

• Identify and assess platform integrity, abuse, fraud, scam, and illicit-activity risks.
• Design, deploy, and evaluate solutions that detect and prevent misuse of the Starlink service.
• Lead reactive investigations and establish expertise in investigative techniques, technologies, or abuse-prevention strategies.
• Conduct periodic reviews supporting legal and compliance obligations.
• Represent the function in cross-functional groups and collaborate with stakeholders to build effective solutions.
• Apply enforcement measures while protecting customer information and privacy and avoiding disproportionate impacts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of professional experience in global affairs, intelligence, or investigations, or 8+ years of equivalent experience without a degree.
• 6+ years of experience with SQL, Python, ArcGIS, R, or comparable data, scripting, geospatial, or statistical tools.
• 6+ years of experience investigating, mitigating, or addressing illicit operators, including fraud, abuse, cybersecurity, or related activity.
• 3+ years owning and driving improvements in customer integrity, processes, technology, or related business capabilities.
• Experience with analytical research, intelligence techniques, OSINT, cybersecurity operations, threat detection, or vulnerability assessment is relevant.
• Must satisfy U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements: U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. authorizations.
