What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain low-level CPU software for networking products.
• Develop automated tests using C, C++, and Python to validate firmware features.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and vendors to qualify new CPUs and components.
• Analyze and mitigate problems in customer networks in coordination with support teams.
• Contribute features to upstream open-source BIOS communities.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 3–8 years of relevant experience depending on degree.
• Expert knowledge of C programming.
• Extensive experience in CPU firmware, BIOS, and boot loader environments.
• Hands-on experience with board bring-up and troubleshooting low-level firmware.
• Familiarity with x86 and ARM CPU architectures.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of C++ and Python.
• Familiarity with Linux kernel architecture.
• Understanding of IP networking principles.
