What you will do

• Develop cross-platform applications for Android, Linux, and Windows to control diverse robotic platforms.
• Design and implement system software using C++ and Kotlin.
• Create SDK interfaces for internal and external system integration.
• Perform hands-on field testing with robots to validate new features and autonomous behaviors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support vision-based navigation and mission systems.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to ITAR and contract regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or Physics.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in software development.
• Strong fluency in modern C++ and modular system design.
• Hands-on experience with CMake and mechatronic or hardware-integrated systems.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret clearance if required.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a relevant technical field.
• Experience with UAS, drones, or autonomous vehicles.
• Familiarity with real-time systems and safety-critical software concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and networking protocols like gRPC or MQTT.
