What you will do
- Develop cross-platform applications for Android, Linux, and Windows to control diverse robotic platforms.
- Design and implement system software using C++ and Kotlin.
- Create SDK interfaces for internal and external system integration.
- Perform hands-on field testing with robots to validate new features and autonomous behaviors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support vision-based navigation and mission systems.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to ITAR and contract regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or Physics.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in software development.
- Strong fluency in modern C++ and modular system design.
- Hands-on experience with CMake and mechatronic or hardware-integrated systems.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret clearance if required.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree in a relevant technical field.
- Experience with UAS, drones, or autonomous vehicles.
- Familiarity with real-time systems and safety-critical software concepts.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and networking protocols like gRPC or MQTT.
