Senior Data Scientist (Optimization & Machine Learning) (Linear Programming, MIP, Python, MLOps): Developing, deploying, and scaling production-grade optimization and machine learning solutions in cloud environments with an accent on discrete optimization, data pipelines, and model lifecycle management. Focus on maintaining scalable LP and MIP models, building production-ready Python solutions, and improving reliability through monitoring and performance optimization.
Location: Stockholm, Sweden; flexible hybrid working model

What you will do
- Maintain, optimize, and enhance production optimization models using Linear Programming, Integer Programming, and Mixed Integer Programming.
- Develop, deploy, monitor, and maintain production-grade optimization and machine learning solutions in cloud environments.
- Build data preparation, transformation, aggregation, and data-wrangling pipelines while integrating new data sources.
- Analyze model outputs, create visualizations, and communicate insights and recommendations to business stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and collaborate with Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders.
- Implement MLOps practices covering deployment, monitoring, automation, model lifecycle management, reliability, and scalability.
Requirements
- Strong experience with discrete optimization, including Linear Programming, Integer Programming, and Mixed Integer Programming.
- Production experience developing and deploying machine learning solutions in cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
- Advanced Python skills and experience writing clean, modular, testable, and production-ready code.
- Strong SQL skills for data manipulation, transformation, and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable data transformation workflows; familiarity with dbt.
- Experience working in Agile, cross-functional environments with strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
