TL;DR
Senior Android Engineer (Kotlin/Java): Developing and scaling mobile applications for home networking solutions with an accent on system-level integrations, performance, and AI-augmented development. Location: Hybrid (Cork, Ireland)
Salary: €85K – €95K

What you will do
- Design and develop scalable Android features focusing on performance and usability.
- Lead end-to-end initiatives coordinating with cloud and embedded teams.
- Build and maintain comprehensive test coverage including unit, integration, and UI tests.
- Drive architectural discussions and define the technical direction of the app.
- Implement modern CI/CD and DevOps workflows using GitHub Actions.
- Mentor other engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence.
Requirements
- 7+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin and Java.
- Deep knowledge of Android OS architecture and platform services.
- Proficiency in Material Design and building responsive, user-centric UIs.
- Expertise in AI-augmented development workflows for code and test generation.
- Experience with DevOps pipelines including GitHub Actions and Fastlane.
- Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Cork, Ireland
Nice to have
- Experience with Node.js, JavaScript, Python, or cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter.
- Knowledge of IoT integrations involving Bluetooth, WiFi, or networking hardware.
- Experience with subscription-based product models and billing flows.
- Experience with iOS development.
