What you will do

• Transform business requirements into robust data models and ETL processes.
• Develop and maintain data marts using Spark, Iceberg, Clickhouse, and DBT.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for analytical tasks.
• Ensure data quality through automated tests and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Collaborate with analysts to understand data needs and optimize pipeline performance.
• Participate in code reviews and develop team best practices.

Requirements

• Advanced SQL proficiency, including window functions, CTEs, and OLAP systems.
• Intermediate Python for data processing (pandas, polars) and automation (Airflow).
• Experience with DBT, specifically building transformation DAGs, incremental models, and snapshots.
• Strong analytical thinking to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to relocate to Cyprus.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spark and PySpark.
• Knowledge of Iceberg and Clickhouse.
