What you will do

• Manage and supervise a team of 4-5 researchers in Kuala Lumpur, overseeing workflow and quality.
• Coordinate secondary research efforts to ensure high-impact data support for global projects.
• Coach, mentor, and develop career paths for direct reports, including performance evaluations and compensation recommendations.
• Conduct in-depth research using proprietary databases to identify trends and key concepts.
• Collaborate with consultants on strategic projects and maintain customized knowledge products.
• Produce graphical portrayals of research findings using MS Office tools.

Requirements

• 7+ years of research experience in financial services within a business setting (e.g., management consultancy, investment bank).
• Proven experience supervising a team of 4-5 staff members.
• Expert knowledge of research tools such as S&P Capital IQ, LSEG Workspace, and Factiva.
• Strong ability to synthesize research and draw out key insights from complex data.
• Stellar communication skills for interfacing with firm leaders and global stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
