What you will do

• Lead small capital projects end-to-end: scope, budget, schedule, execution, and commissioning.
• Oversee technical integration of new process units, utility tie-ins, and equipment packages into existing facility operations.
• Serve as primary on-site technical point of contact for construction crews, contractors, and vendors.
• Verify engineering deliverables for constructability and site compatibility (e.g., P&IDs, structural layouts, piping isometrics).
• Partner on QA/QC and compliance: field inspections, pressure testing, structural sign-offs, and adherence to local building codes and environmental permits.
• Manage RFIs and vendor submittals, lead pre-commissioning walkdowns/punch-list resolution, and facilitate Management of Change (MOC).

Requirements

• Location: Must be permanently based at, or willing to relocate to, Moses Lake, WA (100% on-site, facility-based role)
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering).
• 3 to 6+ years of engineering experience in industrial manufacturing, chemical processing/refining, or heavy industrial construction.
• Strong working knowledge of industrial construction for piping, structural steel, mechanical equipment installation, and utility systems (e.g., chilled water, compressed gases, HVAC).
• Experience tracking project schedules and managing project budgets (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
