TL;DR

Senior Manager, Clinical Development and Validation: Contribute the clinical perspective from POCUS customers to define, develop, and validate clinical solutions that become commercial products and tools, with an accent on clinical validation testing, requirements traceability, and cross-functional integration testing. Focus on translating customer needs into product requirements, creating and executing Clinical Validation Plans and Reports, and supporting design output validation across software, systems, and deep learning teams.

Location: Hybrid (based in Burlington, MA or New York City, NY); team members spend two or more days a week in the office.

Salary: $185,000 + bonus + equity + benefits (estimated)

What you will do

• Translate POCUS customer needs into clear clinical solutions, product requirements, and validation activities across the product lifecycle.
• Initiate, run, and support software and product integration testing and validation efforts.
• Define, document, and execute Clinical Validation tests with maintained traceability to requirements.
• Create, maintain, and distribute Clinical Validation documentation and reporting (e.g., Clinical Evaluation Report (CER), Clinical Validation Plan and Report, and Product Requirements Definition inputs).
• Collaborate with clinical specialists and cross-functional teams (Ultrasound Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software, Deep Learning, Product, Marketing) to validate design outputs and provide clinical input.
• Support customer engagement activities (focus groups, user groups, advisory boards) and identify clinical trends from congresses and education events.

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the United States; no immigration sponsorship provided (including H-1B, TN, O-1, L-1, or green card sponsorship).
• ARDMS certified required; current POCUS/diagnostic ultrasound market expertise (RDMS, RVT, and/or RDCS) with at least 5 years of diagnostic ultrasound experience in POCUS settings.
• Minimum 3 years of R&D experience (or equivalent) and strong understanding of product attributes that drive positive user and patient outcomes.
• Minimum 5 years of experience utilizing ultrasound medical imaging and medical technologies in diverse clinical environments.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability and willingness to travel.
