What you will do

• Partner with Product and Engineering to design, test, and deploy simulation tools combining human-in-the-loop precision with AI-driven automation.
• Lead rapid-response simulation-based scenario testing to support root-cause evaluation and fix validation for emergent field issues.
• Define and document policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to integrate advanced AI/ML tools into vendor workflows.
• Design and implement robust quality control processes to validate the integrity of both human and AI-generated outputs.
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to advise cross-functional stakeholders on testing feasibility and drive tool improvements.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in AV Software Quality, Simulation, or Technical Operations.
• Experience with ML testing and validation, including dataset QA, bias detection, and edge-case scenario testing.
• Ability to master proprietary software tools and a track record of root-causing high-complexity technical issues.
• Strong understanding of driving rules, behavioral safety, and complex traffic environments.
• Must be based onsite in Mountain View, California.

• Hands-on experience with advanced AV simulation test environments.
• Basic experience with SQL for data extraction and results analysis.
