What you will do

• Lead and manage Platform Developer Enablement and SRE teams, setting goals, hiring, developing talent, and mentoring engineering managers.
• Own the platform roadmap and drive the evolution of platform and SRE strategy to imhirify.global shared ownership and operational excellence.
• Build internal developer platform (IDP) services enabling product teams to self-service infrastructure needs and increase delivery velocity.
• Drive reliability and incident management to reach an internal SLO of 99.999% and train Incident Commanders.
• Standardize observability across the company using OpenTelemetry instrumentation, including monitoring and logging frameworks.
• Champion DevOps principles, automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices; communicate technical risks and trade-offs with cross-functional leaders.

Requirements

• Location: must be based in Ireland
• 5+ years of senior-level experience as a Software Engineer, SRE, and/or Platform Engineer.
• 5+ years of management experience leading and coaching other managers.
• Deep experience running SaaS products in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Strong technical background with Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitOps, ArgoCD).
• Advanced observability expertise, specifically OpenTelemetry; plus experience with distributed systems and databases/streaming (e.g., MySQL/PostgreSQL/DynamoDB/MongoDB; Kafka/Redis).
