Salary: $180,000 — $248,000 USD (annual base)

What you will do

• Deliver end-to-end legal support for Public Sector teams, focusing on regulated products and services.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on emerging cloud service policies and educate internal teams on shifting regulations.
• Partner with cross-functional legal counsel to ensure products meet rigorous U.S. and international regulatory standards.
• Embed with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Security to navigate compliance frameworks and authorization processes (e.g., FedRAMP) from conception to launch.
• Provide pragmatic legal solutions that balance aggressive business objectives with necessary risk mitigation.
• Work independently in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment and adapt as business goals evolve.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of legal practice, with at least 2 years focused on U.S. Public Sector and regulated products.
• Deep understanding of U.S. regulated industry legal and regulatory hurdles, including FedRAMP, DoD CC SRG, FAR, and DFARS.
• Working knowledge of U.S. Federal, state, and local regulations impacting technology.
• J.D. from a highly-regarded institution and active Bar admission.
• Proven tech fluency supporting IT products and SaaS business models.
• Ability to independently navigate issues “of first impression” and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
