What you will do

• Develop and improve software applications and tools for optical network analysis.
• Analyze large datasets to identify insights into network performance.
• Collaborate with engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to the design, implementation, and testing of software solutions.
• Apply technologies used in optical networking.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in photonics and optical networking.
• Solid programming skills in Python and Javascript.
• Experience using git for version control.
• Comfortable working in a Linux/bash command-line environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Frontend development with React.
• Containerized application development using Docker and docker-compose.
• Experience with distributed/parallel workloads and large datasets.
• Knowledge of data engineering pipelines (e.g., Snowflake) and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
• Experience configuring Jenkins or Teamcity.
