What you will do

• Form and maintain successful technical relationships with clients throughout Portugal.
• Act as a trusted advisor and expert on big data architecture, design, and implementation.
• Scale best practices by authoring reference architectures, how-to guides, and demo applications.
• Grow the Databricks community in the region by leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
• Engage customers in technical sales, challenge their technical questions, and deliver complex solution designs.

Requirements

• Location: Based in the Madrid region.
• Languages: Native proficiency in Portuguese and Spanish, and business fluency in English.
• Travel: Flexibility to travel up to 50%, primarily for customer meetings in Portugal.
• Prior experience coding in a core language such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Hands-on expertise with Big Data Analytics technologies and public cloud platforms.
• Experience in use case discovery, scoping, and delivering complex solution architecture designs.
