Senior VFX Artist

Location: Remote work allowed worldwide except Russia and Belarus; relocation required from Russia and Belarus to company offices or remote from other countries

What you will do

• Develop and visualize complex effects tasks within the feature team
• Create UI and object animations, including player interaction effects
• Create textures, sequences, animations, and optimize effects
• Coordinate with VFX artists, game designers, and programmers to ensure high visual quality

Requirements

• Fluent in Russian
• 3+ years experience as effects artist or animator, preferably in mobile projects
• Strong skills in Unity, Unreal, and other game engines for creating and optimizing effects
• Excellent sense of composition, color, timing, and dynamics
• Knowledge and practical application of animation principles

Nice to have

• Interest in 2D effects
• Understanding of technical aspects of game effects (atlases, batching, mechanics)
• Familiarity with effects shaders and creation
• Low-poly modeling skills for VFX
• Experience with stylistically similar mobile projects
