AI & Data Science Specialist (iGaming)

Location: Hybrid (Liège, Belgium) - possibility to work remotely up to 50% of working time.

What you will do

• Design and develop AI-powered systems, models, and agentic workflows from hypothesis through to production.
• Establish systematic evaluation and testing practices for quality, safety, and reliability, including monitoring of latency and cost.
• Translate AI Governance frameworks into practical engineering standards and reusable technical controls.
• Build secure pipelines, context engineering frameworks, and knowledge systems for the Experience Lab.
• Partner with Platform, Legal, and Security teams to ensure AI solutions are secure, scalable, and production-ready.
• Assess third-party AI models and vendors from a technical and operational perspective.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software, ML, or data engineering with a track record of owning production systems.
• Strong Python skills and experience building maintainable AI applications and ML pipelines beyond the prototype stage.
• Solid software engineering practices: system design, API design, automated testing, and code review.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and MLOps patterns; Kubernetes is a strong asset.
• Ability to translate privacy and risk requirements into technical controls and documentation.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), knowledge graphs, or structured knowledge systems.
• Experience applying AI governance in regulated or data-sensitive environments.
• Professional proficiency in French.
