Senior System Problem Solving Engineer (Automotive): Leading complex technical investigations for next-generation automotive power electronics in EVs and PHEVs with an accent on root cause analysis across system, hardware, and software domains. Focus on resolving critical product issues and ensuring system reliability through high-voltage safety and functional safety (ISO 26262) standards.

Location: Hybrid from Kraków (3 days per week from the office)

Salary: 1000 - 1520 PLN/day

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional technical investigations to identify root causes of field and customer-reported issues.
• Analyze interactions between vehicle applications, electronics hardware, embedded software, and power electronics functions.
• Manage problem resolution from issue identification and containment through corrective actions to validation and closure.
• Collaborate with system, software, hardware, test, validation, and manufacturing teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Represent technical findings during customer discussions and escalation meetings.
• Evaluate system performance and calibration data using engineering tools like Vector CANoe and ETAS INCA.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in automotive system development, specifically within power electronics.
• Proven expertise in power electronics systems such as inverters, OBC, DC/DC converters, eDrive, eAxle, or BMS.
• Practical knowledge of ISO 26262 and automotive functional safety principles.
• Hands-on qualification and experience in High Voltage (HV) Safety.
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, ETAS INCA, Vector CANoe, and CANape.
• Must be based in or be able to work from the Kraków office (hybrid).
