What you will do

• Manage and mentor the Level Design team, setting production priorities and providing regular, constructive feedback.
• Translate the vision of the Game and World Directors into concrete level design objectives and playable game spaces.
• Collaborate with Lead Level Art and Lead Tech Level Design to align gameplay intentions, visual composition, and technical implementation.
• Define level design standards to ensure consistency in navigation, progression, and spatial cues.
• Rapidly produce prototypes and iterations to validate gameplay intentions and improve environments.
• Coordinate with Gameplay, Programming, Tech Art, and QA teams to ensure seamless content integration.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing a Level Design team within AAA production.
• Expertise in spatial organization, movement flows, pacing, and gameplay staging.
• Strong knowledge of world-building disciplines such as architecture, geography, geology, or urban planning.
• Ability to translate creative visions into concrete production goals in complex environments.
• Fluency in English.
• Must be based in or work from the offices in Annecy (France) or Montreal (Canada).
