What you will do

• Build and maintain SQL and dbt data models to transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets.
• Create reusable datasets and metrics for consistent reporting and self-service analytics.
• Develop data quality tests and investigate issues to improve data reliability.
• Collaborate with Analysts and business teams to translate requirements into data models.
• Optimize existing data models and pipelines for performance and scalability.
• Contribute to documentation, data lineage, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree or diploma in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Information Systems.
• Working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and basic data modeling concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Must be based in or eligible to work in Canada (specifically Vancouver, BC).
• Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical partners.

Nice to have

• Exposure to dbt, BigQuery, or other cloud data warehouses.
• Experience with Python and Git.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
