Location: Hybrid in Barcelona (Spain) or Milan (Italy). Relocation support provided.

What you will do
- Lead a high-performing cross-functional agile team of 7-10 experienced software engineers.
- Collaborate with Product, Business, Architecture, and Data Science to shape the technical strategy for the Prime domain.
- Translate functional specifications into high-performance logical technical designs and manageable tasks.
- Promote standards of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Manage performance, set goals, and prioritize work while balancing team capacity.
- Act as a mentor to help other developers grow their skills and professional careers.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in OO design, system design, performance engineering, and data modelling.
- Experience with distributed, concurrent, and scalable systems.
- Demonstrated comfort using practical AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT in development workflows.
- Ability to make fast, data-driven decisions and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- High standards for quality and technical excellence in coding.
- Must be based in or able to relocate to Barcelona or Milan.
Nice to have
- Advanced ability to leverage AI tools for debugging and streamlining development processes.
- Experience collaborating with AI tools as "pair programmers".
- Enthusiasm for continuously adapting to new AI capabilities.
