TL;DR
Senior Frontend Developer (React): Developing and maintaining user interfaces for cloud-native EDI products with an accent on high-quality, maintainable code and technical leadership. Focus on designing scalable frontend architectures, integrating RESTful APIs, and promoting the use of AI-assisted development tools.
Location: Hybrid; must be based in or able to commute to the Peterborough or Bracknell offices (UK) for three days a week.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality frontend features using React and TypeScript.
- Take ownership of complex technical work from design through to delivery.
- Contribute to technical planning and participate in Agile ceremonies.
- Mentor other developers and improve engineering standards, documentation, and workflows.
- Explore and promote the responsible use of AI-assisted development tools to improve team effectiveness.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript in a production environment.
- Deep understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, responsive design, and browser behavior.
- Experience designing and building maintainable frontend applications at scale.
- Proficiency in integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of frontend testing practices and tools such as Jest and React Testing Library.
- Security-conscious approach to development, including dependency risk management.
Nice to have
- Experience with Redux and Micro-frontend architecture.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
