What you will do

• Operate and evolve the Kubernetes and CNCF-aligned platform, including cluster lifecycle and autoscaling.
• Own end-to-end cloud operations across Azure, AWS, and GCP, including networking, IAM, and cost management.
• Maintain and expand regional processing architecture to support data residency and customer-selectable regions.
• Drive infrastructure-as-code practices using Pulumi to provide modules and guardrails for engineering teams.
• Improve system reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency through SLOs, observability, and capacity planning.
• Anchor the platform discipline in NYC while partnering with global SRE and Foundations teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a backend engineer with deep expertise in infrastructure, observability, and monitoring.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Pulumi or similar IaC tools like AWS CDK or Terraform.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
