ServiceNow Developer (Enterprise IT): Building and maintaining ServiceNow solutions for a major energy company with an accent on OOTB configuration, ITSM module optimization, and platform governance. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Rotterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid: 2 days/week in office).

Salary: €60,000 – €85,000 gross annual.

What you will do

• Design, configure, and build ServiceNow solutions aligned with OOTB principles.
• Extend core ITSM applications including Incident, Problem, Change, and CMDB.
• Develop and maintain integrations using IntegrationHub and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Enforce OOTB governance to prevent customization creep and ensure auditability.
• Participate in a 24/7 Major Incident Management (MIM) standby rotation.
• Mentor junior developers and translate technical decisions for business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS-ITSM) required.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, and Glide APIs.
• Experience with platform re-implementation or migration projects.
• Deep knowledge of ITSM modules and CMDB data models.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model with regular presence in the Rotterdam office.

Nice to have

• Experience with ITOM, HRSD, or CAD certifications.
• Performance Analytics (PA) certification.
• ITIL Foundation v4 certification.
• Background in SIAM or multi-vendor service integration.
