TL;DR
Technical Analyst/Specialist (Databricks/Azure): Supporting the development and daily operations of the Erste Databricks Platform with an accent on translating business needs into technical requirements. Focus on designing platform processes, coordinating with engineering teams, and ensuring scalable, secure data governance.
Location: Bratislava, Slovakia (Hybrid / Mobile Work)
Salary: from EUR 3,000 gross per month

What you will do
- Collaborate with Databricks users to analyze and translate business requests into functional and technical requirements.
- Support the platform team in prioritizing, delivering user requests, and onboarding new data products.
- Design and document platform processes, user journeys, and operational procedures.
- Coordinate with data engineers, architects, and security teams to resolve technical issues.
- Improve data lifecycle management, governance, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor AI, analytics, and data platform trends to assess business relevance.
Requirements
- Experience as a Technical Analyst, Platform Analyst, or Data Analyst.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and Databricks or similar cloud data platforms.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and cloud concepts.
- Understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code, preferably Terraform.
- Ability to document user stories, technical concepts, and processes clearly.
- Strong analytical thinking and effective communication skills.
Nice to have
- Basic knowledge of Python.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
- Understanding of data governance, lineage, and compliance.
- Awareness of GenAI and machine learning platforms.
- Experience in banking or regulated financial environments.
