What you will do

• Develop analytical and numerical models for the quantum dynamics of mechanical systems.
• Investigate quantum control and noise mitigation techniques to protect fragile quantum states.

• Contribute to the supervision of Bachelor's and Master's students.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Physics or a closely related discipline.
• Strong background in quantum mechanics and mathematics.
• Experience with scientific programming tools.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work in an open, collaborative environment where assumptions are challenged.

Nice to have

• Experience in quantum optics or quantum sensing and metrology.
• Knowledge of optomechanics and mechanical quantum systems.
• Background in quantum information theory or foundations of quantum mechanics.
• Understanding of the interface between gravity and quantum mechanics.
