Principal Network Engineer (AI)

Location: Must be based in Singapore with up to 50% travel across APAC required.

What you will do

• Drive multi-quarter platform initiatives to improve delivery velocity and system reliability.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to balance long-term architecture with immediate business needs.
• Transform ambiguous, high-impact technical challenges into clear, actionable execution plans.
• Scale high-performing engineering teams responsible for core platform systems.
• Raise the bar on operational excellence and engineering quality across the organization.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure system stability.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Network Engineering experience in large ISP or Cloud provider environments.
• Must be based in Singapore and able to travel across APAC up to 50% of the time.
• Strong expertise in protocols including MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, TCP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience with Infiniband or RoCE networking.
• Proficiency in scripting or automation, preferably with Python.
• Experience with network modeling and programming tools like YANG, OpenConfig, and NETCONF.

Nice to have

• Experience with overlay networking.
• Knowledge of VxLAN and EVPN.
