What you will do

• Operationalize complex ML models into robust, scalable features for global brands like Tinder and Hinge.
• Design and develop backend services and distributed systems for the consumption, scaling, and monitoring of ML models.
• Build real-time and batch ML serving pipelines to deliver model outputs with low latency and high reliability.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to deploy and optimize Large Language Models (LLMs) for high-impact use cases.
• Engage in deep technical collaboration with engineering counterparts across global offices including Palo Alto, LA, and Tokyo.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering, focusing on Backend, ML Engineering, or Data Engineering.
• Strong understanding of CS fundamentals and distributed system design.
• Proficiency in at least one modern language (Python, Go, Java, Kotlin, C#).
• Professional working proficiency in English for complex business discussions.
• Native-level fluency in Korean for cross-functional collaboration within the Seoul office.
• Experience using AI-powered productivity tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor).

Nice to have

• Experience with the full ML lifecycle, from training to production deployment.
• Experience developing scalable backend servers handling millions of users.
• Familiarity with ML serving frameworks such as vLLM, Triton, Ray Serve, or Seldon.
• Experience with big data or stream processing frameworks like Spark, Flink, or Kafka.
