Payment Specialist (Fintech): Support daily payment operations and ensure smooth execution of domestic and international transactions with an accent on SEPA, SWIFT, and FX rails. Focus on analyzing payment failures, managing reconciliation breaks, and driving process automation.

Location: Hybrid in Vilnius, Lithuania (4 days on-site required)

Salary: EUR 2,200 – 2,800 gross

What you will do

• Execute and monitor domestic and international payments via SEPA, SWIFT, FX, and real-time rails.
• Manage SWIFT messages for payment investigations, recalls, and inquiries.
• Monitor account balances and coordinate settlement releases and reversals.
• Analyze failed payments, reconciliation breaks, chargebacks, and disputes.
• Collaborate with Customer Service and banking partners to resolve operational issues.
• Identify process inefficiencies and drive automation and KPI reporting.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in payments, reconciliation, or a similar financial role.
• Strong understanding of payment operations, specifically SEPA and SWIFT.
• Strong communication skills in Lithuanian and English.
• Full-time availability for work from the Vilnius office.
• Ability to take end-to-end ownership of issues in a fast-paced environment.
