TL;DR
Spam and Abuse Analyst (Cybersecurity): Monitoring production systems and fighting spam and abuse by analyzing data and creating actionable rules with an accent on mail delivery and account security. Focus on reducing misclassifications, mitigating DDoS attacks, and collaborating with ML engineers to improve automated detection systems.
Location: Onsite in Skopje. Work Schedule: Second shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM CEST)

What you will do
- Monitor production MSA systems and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Combat spam and abuse by analyzing data and context to implement effective rules.
- Provide insights and feedback to Software and ML Engineers to enhance system design.
- Drive planning, development, and QA processes, acting as a proxy for product and project managers.
- Develop Python scripts for sophisticated data analysis and automated actions.
Requirements
- Experience in data analysis, preferably in electronic communications, anomaly detection, or fraud prevention.
- Strong logical reasoning and analytical skills.
- Excellent English communication, both written and spoken.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be based in Skopje for the second-shift schedule.
