Site Reliability Engineer (DevOps)

Location: Hybrid in Amman, Jordan or Cairo, Egypt (Work from home up to 2 days/week)

What you will do

• Build and maintain support systems to ensure high availability, establishing SLIs and SLOs.
• Implement automation for system provisioning, self-healing, auto-recovery, and zero-downtime deployment.
• Perform incident response and deep-dive root cause analysis (RCA) for critical system failures.
• Develop and optimize the event catalog, including manual remediation and automated workflows.
• Collaborate with Development and Product teams to integrate reliability best practices.
• Act as a Data Steward to ensure adherence to data governance and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT operations, SRE, or DevOps management.
• Strong expertise in AKS and on-prem Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting using Ansible, Bash, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and Azure or AWS.
• Proven experience in high-availability system management and incident response.
