What you will do

• Develop advanced blade concepts focusing on architecture, structural performance, and manufacturing feasibility.
• Perform conceptual and detailed design of large-scale composite structures for wind turbines.
• Assess structural integrity and generate innovative concepts for next-generation blades.
• Optimize blade designs for function, simplicity, cost, and manufacturability.
• Coordinate design tasks within project teams and collaborate with global engineering teams.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical/Structural Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in designing composite structures, preferably within the wind industry.
• Strong proficiency with ANSYS APDL and Finite Element Method (FEM).
• Deep understanding of aero-structure elasticity, plate and shell theory, and general beam theory.
• Experience with composite testing at full, component, and coupon levels.

Nice to have

• Programming skills, particularly in Python.
