What you will do

• Build native Android features for onboarding, accounts, payments, transfers, and AI-assisted user journeys.
• Transform complex financial workflows into simple, fast, and reliable mobile experiences.
• Collaborate with product, design, and AI engineers to move features from idea to production.
• Own app quality, focusing on performance, crash rates, loading states, and release stability.
• Improve features based on production feedback, analytics, and customer behavior.
• Integrate secure APIs and authentication for reliable financial workflows.

Requirements

• Strong native Android experience using Kotlin.
• Proven track record of shipping Android apps used by real users.
• Deep understanding of Android architecture, Jetpack, Coroutines, and Flow.
• Strong product sense and a commitment to high-quality UX.
• Ability to debug production issues and improve app reliability and performance.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Tokyo, Japan office (hybrid, 3+ days/week)
• Strong English communication skills required
