What you will do

  • Lead or assist ceded reinsurance placements, including structuring, placement, and administration across product lines.
  • Align reinsurance strategies with product offerings in partnership with underwriting leadership.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with brokers and reinsurers.
  • Manage placement timelines and ensure timely, well-communicated renewals.
  • Coordinate underwriting and claims audits and prepare detailed submissions including contract wording.
  • Ensure contracts reflect agreed terms, meet regulatory standards, and are executed on time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3-5 years (Analyst) or 5+ years (Senior Analyst) in insurance, reinsurance, or broking.
  • Experience with reinsurance contract wording (1-2 years for Analyst, 5+ years for Senior).
  • Understanding of reinsurance structures such as XOL, RPP, Aggregate, and QS.
  • Analytical knowledge of insurance accounting and actuarial concepts.

Nice to have

  • Professional certifications: ARE, CPCU, or ARM.
  • Knowledge of catastrophe modeling.
