What you will do

• Build and ship Android features using Kotlin for an AI Finance Agent.
• Develop clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims, and renewals.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to simplify complex user journeys.
• Integrate backend APIs ensuring stability, security, and reliability.
• Optimize app performance, memory usage, and reduce crash rates.
• Implement AI-assisted mobile experiences to improve user journeys.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin.
• Proficiency with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android architecture.
• Strong understanding of mobile UX, usability, and edge case handling.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging production issues.
• Must be based in Japan.
• Strong English communication skills required.

Nice to have

• App links, GitHub portfolio, or examples of shipped production work.
• Experience with TensorFlow Lite for on-device inference.
