What you will do

• Build, automate, and operate database platforms that underpin business-critical systems and large-scale engineering workloads.
• Develop reliable and scalable services across Linux, Kubernetes, cloud, and on-premise infrastructure.
• Create automation frameworks and improve operational tooling to enhance system efficiency.
• Solve complex technical challenges related to distributed systems and infrastructure at scale.
• Collaborate across automation, platform engineering, and DevOps domains to ensure engineering quality.

Requirements

• Must be based in the London Area, United Kingdom (Hybrid).
• Experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Linux and Python.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Exposure to Kubernetes and modern container platforms.
• Proven track record of building automation and improving operational tooling.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with database platforms.
• Contributions to open-source projects, home labs, or personal technology projects.
• Experience with Kubernetes Operators or advanced engineering tooling.
