Internship: Digital Design Team Support (m/f/d)

Location: Gratkorn, Austria

Salary: EUR 2,800 gross/month for a full-time equivalent

What you will do

• Analyze technical requirements and develop implementation concepts with the NFC Digital Modem Team.
• Design, implement, test, and release software solutions for automated Digital IP integration, verification, and release.
• Contribute to a Continuous Integration-based software platform and develop a Command Line Interface for FPGA-based prototyping systems.
• Maintain version-controlled databases and technical documentation.
• Create and update an online User Reference Manual.
• Present demos and new features to the team.

Requirements

• Currently studying Software Development, Informatics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of Linux and Bash or tcsh scripting.
• Programming experience in C and Python, with an understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with Git, SVN, or ClearCase.
• Basic understanding of software engineering and development processes.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken; availability for at least 20 hours per week for more than 6 months.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of digital design, verification, or synthesis.
• Experience with FPGA programming and testing.
