Location: Must be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Hybrid: minimum 2 days/week in office).

What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of security incidents from initial contact to final closure.
• Oversee host- and network-based investigations, including triage, evidence collection, and root cause analysis.
• Provide expert containment and recovery advice to clients during and after cyber incidents.
• Act as a technical lead and escalation point for the APAC incident response team.
• Participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation for global client incident coverage.
• Coordinate non-technical workstreams and provide regular updates to client stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must have permission to work in Malaysia.
• Strong domain knowledge in Windows systems, networking, virtualization, and EDR solutions.
• Demonstrable experience conducting forensic investigations, particularly on Windows.
• Critical and investigative mindset with the ability to solve problems with limited information.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with both technical teams and board-level stakeholders.
• Proficiency in scripting to automate and solve cybersecurity challenges.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as GCFE, GCFA, GCIH, GNFA, or CISSP.
• Experience investigating Linux and MacOS systems.
• Working proficiency in Malay, Tamil, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Vietnamese.
