Senior Director, Global Environmental Health & Safety (Aerospace): Leading enterprise-wide EHS strategy, risk management, and regulatory compliance across global manufacturing operations with an accent on aerospace standards and safety culture transformation. Focus on developing world-class EHS programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA/EPA/FAA regulations, and driving continuous improvement in safety performance.
Location: Onsite in Buffalo, NY (Must live local or be willing to relocate).
Salary: $240,000–$275,000 Annually.

What you will do
- Define and execute global EHS strategy aligned with corporate goals and ESG priorities.
- Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on EHS risks, trends, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, FAA, and DoD regulatory standards.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and enterprise risk mitigation.
- Implement and maintain EHS management systems such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and AS 9100.
- Coach and develop a global EHS team while fostering a proactive safety culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Engineering, or Industrial Hygiene (Master’s preferred).
- 12+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing, preferably in aerospace.
- 5+ years in senior leadership roles with global/multi-site responsibility.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) required; CIH or CHMM preferred.
- Deep knowledge of global EHS regulatory frameworks and complex compliance environments.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Buffalo, NY area.
