What you will do

• Perform customer discovery and workflow shadowing to identify operational constraints and evidence sources.
• Develop and implement product slices across frontend, backend, and data layers in a live codebase.
• Verify implementations through rigorous testing, log inspection, and evidence-based demos.
• Translate customer-specific findings into reusable platform primitives and roadmap improvements.
• Manage ambiguous projects end-to-end from initial discovery to final rollout and follow-up.
• Communicate technical tradeoffs and risks to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven track record of shipping production software with a deep understanding of the deployment lifecycle.
• Fullstack proficiency: TypeScript, React, Next.js (frontend) and Python, Pydantic, Django/FastAPI (backend).
• Experience with Postgres, tenant scoping, and building auditability into data systems.
• Hands-on experience with AI systems, including LLM providers (OpenAI, Gemini, Bedrock) and typed outputs.
• Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, customer-facing environments.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• AWS expertise (IAM, Lambda, API Gateway, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience.
• Background in regulated industries such as energy, finance, or healthcare.
• Previous experience as a founding engineer or in solutions engineering.
