What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, validation, and deployment of ML models using physiological and digital health data.
• Translate complex clinical and product challenges into robust ML solutions with rigorous evaluation frameworks.
• Apply digital signal processing and modern machine learning techniques to wearable and medical device data.
• Establish modeling standards and provide technical leadership for time-series and biomedical signal problems.
• Partner with Data Engineering and Platform teams to productionize models and build scalable pipelines.
• Mentor data scientists through technical reviews, coaching, and sharing best practices.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Significant industry experience leading end-to-end machine learning projects.
• Deep expertise in classical ML, ensemble models, and deep learning techniques.
• Strong experience working with time-series data and signal processing techniques.
• Advanced Python and SQL skills for developing production-quality code.
• Experience with cloud and data platforms such as AWS and Snowflake.

Nice to have

• Experience with physiological signals (e.g., PSG, EEG, ECG, PPG, respiratory flow/pressure, or SpO2).
• Background in healthcare, medical devices, or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) and AI/ML lifecycle management.
• Experience collaborating with clinical and medical stakeholders.
