Quality Assurance Advisor (Defence)

TL;DR

Quality Assurance Advisor (Defence): Supporting the execution of quality management programs and internal audit activities for NCS projects with an accent on systems engineering and software development. Focus on conducting technical reviews, ensuring Project Quality Plans implementation, and managing corrective/preventative actions.

Location: Adelaide, Australia. Must hold or be able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance (baseline/NV1/NV2).

What you will do

• Manage and conduct internal audit activities on NCS projects.
• Monitor and report the status of quality requirements as defined in Project Plans.
• Participate in technical reviews and witness testing.
• Ensure the creation, approval, and implementation of Project Quality Plans.
• Initiate and manage Corrective/Preventative Actions to ensure effective closure.
• Coordinate PMR and MRB activities and approve Inspection and Test Plans.

Requirements

• Australian Defence Security Clearance to baseline/NV1/NV2 level or the ability to gain one.
• Experience working with software development projects and Systems Engineering processes.
• Degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.

Nice to have

• Experience working with Defence related projects.
• Understanding of technical drawing details and related standards.
