Location: Hybrid (Cape Town, South Africa)

What you will do
- Manage daily liquidity positions and cash balances across multiple currencies and jurisdictions.
- Prepare and analyze daily cash flow forecasts for assigned markets to ensure operational and regulatory funding.
- Execute and oversee timely merchant, vendor, and intercompany settlements using various banking platforms.
- Monitor foreign exchange exposures and support FX execution across EMEA markets.
- Perform and evidence SOX controls and adhere to treasury governance procedures.
- Identify and drive opportunities to automate and scale treasury processes using data and AI.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related discipline.
- 4–7 years of treasury experience within banking, fintech, or financial services.
- Experience managing liquidity across multiple jurisdictions and supporting high-volume cross-border payment flows.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and FX settlement processes.
- Experience using multiple banking platforms and payment portals.
- Must be based in Cape Town for a hybrid work arrangement.
Nice to have
- Experience working within a multinational organization.
- Experience in a fintech or payments environment.
- Proficiency with Treasury Management Systems such as Kyriba, FIS, or GTreasury.
